TS-2000

     Our TS-2000 elevator is a versatile power-driven elevator system. Designed for safe and effective maintenance, the TS-2000 allows quick and easy access to your instrumentation under any conditions in any climate. Sensitive instrument packages can be lowered in severe weather and high wind conditions for maintenance saving you time and money.

     The TS-2000 can be fitted for as many instrument levels as you require. We have built the TS-2000 elevator for easy mounting on virtually any tower made by any manufacturer.

     Rigid tubular rails and mounting brackets coupled with our unique carriage rollers provide a highly stable platform at any height on your tower system. Three rollers spaced at 120 degrees on each comer of the carriage provide smooth and secure travel along the rails. Each carriage is securely attached to the drive cable by two industrial clamps. Should you need to remove the carriage, these clamps are quickly released with a single l/2" w h.

     A galvanized steel messenger cable is attached to your signal cables. This cable becomes tensioned when the instruments reach the proper level. Our exclusive technique ensures correct carriage position under all conditions and keeps instrument cables free from wind damage. Optional stainless steel cable is available for highly corrosive environments.

     An electrical power winch of 115 or 230 volts provides positive drive up or down through an endless loop of flexible cable. The unique Tower Systems’ stainless steel double drum on the winch provides the necessary "grip" for complete control and safety. Cable tension is maintained by an automatic spring-loaded tensioner as well as a manual tensioner. These devices are permanently located at the tower base ensuring full-time accessibility.

All components are highly resistant to the effects of harsh environments:

• Aluminum carnage rollers ride on stainless steel shafts and are partially enclosed to prevent ice build-up allowing for free travel in all weather. We also have an optional de-icer kit available.
• Sheaves are stainless steel with maintenance-free sealed bearings.
• All mounting hardware is stainless steel.
• Aluminum elevator components are made from type 6061-T6, a highly corrosive resistant material.
• The double drum winch is stainless steel and anodized aluminum. An optional electric brake is also available. This "fail safe" brake releases only upon application of power and that your instrument packages remain at the proper level.
