HOE-25

The Tower Systems, Inc. HOE-25 is a Hand Operated Elevator system designed to fit towers up to 30 meters in height. This efficient elevator can be easily mounted on virtually any tower made by any manufacturer.

Designed for safe and effective maintenance, the HOE-25 allows quick and easy access to your instrumentation under any conditions in any climate. The instrumentation package can be safely lowered in severe weather conditions saving you time and money. Rigid tubular rails and mounting brackets coupled with unique carriage rollers provide a highly stable platform at any height on your tower. Three rollers spaced at 120 degrees on each corner of the carriage provide smooth and secure travel along the rails. The carriage is securely attached to the drive cable by two industrial clamps. Should you need to remove the carriage, these clamps are quickly released with a single ½" wrench.

A galvanized steel messenger cable is attached to your signal cables. This cable becomes tensioned when the instruments reach the proper level. Our exclusive technique ensures correct carnage position under all conditions and keeps instrument cables secure and free from wind damage. Optional stainless steel cable is available for highly corrosive environments.

All components are highly resistant to the effects of harsh environments:

• Aluminum carriage rollers ride on stainless steel shafts.
• Sheaves are stainless steel with maintenance-free sealed hearings.
• All mounting hardware is stainless steel.
• Aluminum elevator components are made from type 6061-T6, a highly corrosive resistant material.
• The winch has a "marine coating" for corrosive resistance.

The hand-operated winch has a unique braking system that prevents an uncontrolled free fall of the carriage assembly. A 3.9 to 1 gear reduction ensures easy operation when hoisting or lowering tower instruments.
