Civil Foreman

The qualified applicant will be responsible for all aspects and stages of civils while developing a Raw Land or Greenfield site into a complete and fully operational tower site. The applicant will have the knowledge, skills and ability to successfully layout a site and install tower foundations (anchors, pad and pier, mat and pier or drilled), ability to tie and place rebar cages per specifications, install equipment shelter foundations with footings or raised piers, generator slabs, finish exposed concrete, install utility racks, oversee road construction (to include finished grade, fabric and culverts), fencing, trenching and installation of PVC for power and telephone lines with pull strings, grounding and knowledge on Cadweld/ThermoWeld methods.

Other duties and requirements include:

  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision while supervising 1-2 co-workers.
  • Must be of good character, dependable and honest, self starter, result-oriented and a team leader.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
  • Responsible for company provided vehicle, trailer, tools, equipment and supplies.
  • Must comply with and enforce company and industry safety standards.
  • Must have proof of completion of OSHA 10 Hour and 30 Hour Course, CPR/First Aid Training.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret construction drawings, blue prints, and foundation designs.
  • Knowledge on how to use a Transit and Meggar.
  • Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; “Class A” CDL required.
  • Ability to operate small excavation equipment; mechanical aptitude a plus.
  • Must be in good physical condition with stamina and ability to lift over 80 pounds. Must be able to pass a DOT/Medical physical.
  • Attention to detail in site completion forms, as-builts, photo logs and weekly paperwork. Computer knowledge a plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, nationally and internationally; passport required (lodging and per diem expenses paid by company).
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required. Continued education or military experience preferred. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Tower Foreman / Crew Supervisor

The successful applicant will be responsible for performing all aspects of tower construction. This includes the safe installation of all tower types (guy, self-supporting, monopole, flagpoles, roof tops and water tank applications). Accurately installing types of antennas (Yagi, Bogner, Panel, OMNI, FM Bay Antennas, Microwave dishes, etc.) with associated coax/line, mounts and hardware. Sweeping the coax/line to customer specifications, installation of tower lights (beacon/strobe), tower grounding, plumb and tensioning, troubleshoot and resolve tower maintenance/emergency issues, conduct tower audits and mapping.

Other duties and requirements include:

  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision while supervising 4-5 co-workers.
  • Must be of good character; dependable and honest, a self-starter and a motivator, result-oriented and a team leader.
  • Good organizational skills and ablility to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Responsible for company provided vehicle, trailer, boom truck, ATV, tools, miscellaneous equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret construction drawings, blue prints, tower assembly drawings, and RF Data Sheets.
  • Must comply with and enforce company and industry safety standards.
  • Must have a certified competent climber/rescue card by an accredited trainer.
  • Must have proof of completion of OSHA 10 Hour and 30 Hour Course, CPR/First Aid Training.
  • Must be in good physical condition with stamina, ability to lift over 80 pounds and climb structures as high as 1500’. Must be able to pass DOT/Medical Physical.
  • Proficient in all principals of rigging and knot tying.
  • Proficient in all disciplines of Gin Pole procedures.
  • Competent in the operation and proper use of Winches, Capstan Hoist and JLG. Crane Operator Certified.
  • Anritsu Certified.
  • Connector certifications (Andrew, Comscope, Eupen, PPC).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; “Class A” CDL required.
  • Attention to detail in site completion forms, close-outs, photo logs and weekly paperwork.
  • Computer skills mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, nationally and internationally; passport required (lodging and per diem expenses paid by company).

Tower Technician / Rigger / Climber

The qualified applicant will participate and perform all aspects of new tower construction, upgrades, and maintenance on existing structures. Ability to assist in the construction and maintenance of all types of towers (guy, self supporting, monopole, flagpoles, and roof top and water tank applications ranging in height from 60’ to 1500’). Assist crew in the safe and proper installation of all types of antennas and microwave dishes with associated mounts, coax/line, connectors and hardware. Knowledge on how to correctly install grounding systems, lights, and troubleshooting skills. Demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work under diverse seasonal conditions is mandatory.

Other duties and requirements include:

  • Must be able to follow direction and instructions from Crew Supervisor.
  • Good character; must be dependable and honest, self-starter, result-oriented and a team player.
  • Must comply with company and industry safety standards.
  • Good organization and communication skills.
  • Proficient in rigging and knot tying.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. “Class A” CDL license is preferred or the ability to obtain one after successful completion of our 90 day new employee probationary period.
  • Must be able to read and understand construction drawings and tower assembly drawings.
  • Must exhibit good physical stamina with the ability to lift 80 pounds and climb structures as high as 1500’. Must be able to pass DOT/Medical Physical.
  • Training certificates a plus! Certified Climber card by an accredited trainer, OSHA 10 hour course, CPR/First Aid training, and connector certifications.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, nationally and internationally; passport required. (lodging and per diem expenses paid by company).
